When is Daylight Savings Time? What is it? How do I change it?
Daylight Savings Time begins in most parts of the United States at 2 a.m. on the first Sunday in April, and ends at 2 a.m. on the last Sunday of October. When it begins, clocks are set ahead one hour to make the available daylight last longer. When it ends, clocks are set back one hour.

To change to Daylight Savings in the game, speak to your Mother in New Bark Town.

Note: If the time was set incorrectly when the game was started, there is no way to set it properly. You will need to start a new game to change the clock. The only benefit of having your game time match up with real time is to make it easier to keep track of game events. Players who have time set differently will still be able to accomplish everything in the game.

Whenever I encounter a certain wild Pokémon, I see a ball under its name. Why?
That means you have captured that kind of Pokémon before.

When does the time of day change? When is Morning, Day, and Night?
Morning is from 4am to 10am, Day is from 10am to 6pm, and Night is from 6pm to 4am.

What are the differences between Gold and Silver versions?
The main difference is that each game has certain Pokémon that are exclusive to it.

How do I reset the Clock? What is the password to reset the Clock?
The only way to change the clock time is to begin a new game. There is a function that asks if you want to change the clock, and then asks for a password. At this time, we do not have any valid passwords for this feature.

 Is Serabii/Celebi in the game?
In Japan, Serabii was offered to collectors during special Pokémon events. At this time, we have no information about this Pokémon or Celebi existing in the U.S. versions of the games. Visit www.pokemon.com for information on new Pokémon.

Is Mew in the game somewhere?
No. Mew cannot be found in the game.

I just got an Item that did not show up in my pack, where is it? What are decorations?
Decorative items will only be shown on Your PC in your bedroom in New Bark Town. They are used to decorate your room. They do not affect game play.

My Pokémon are sick. The game says they have the Pokérus (pokevirus, virus) or something. What is this?
You Pokémon can randomly catch a cold. When this happens, your entire party will get sick, but this is a good thing. When they have this, all of their stats will be doubled. Your Pokémon will get better on their own in a few days.

I have heard of a Shiny or different colored Pokémon. What are they?
These are extremely rare, with the exception of the Red Gyarados, which everyone will encounter. They shine before they attack and have a special marking (three dots) next to the Pokémon's gender symbol when stored in Bill's PC. Any Pokémon found in the wild can be specially colored, but the chances of finding them are slim.

Where is the Name Rater/Move Deleter?
He can be found in Lavender Town and Goldenrod City. The Move Deleter, who can remove any move a Pokémon has learned, can be found in Blackthorn City.

I keep trying to trade and get a message about the machine being adjusted. Why?
You will get this message if one of the games involved in the trade have not been played far enough (in other words, does not yet have the Pokédex and at least one badge).

What the heck do you do at the day care?
Well, the main reson, like always, is to raise your pokémon's level up. But if you leave a male and a female pokémon there (1. Your pokémon has to like you  2. The male and the female have to have the same pictures as to when you go to pokémon on the main menu,BOTH the pokémons picture (to represent what kind of pokémon it is) has to be the same.
